this allows me access to my work intranet and it can be accessed on IE but firefox won't play. I did manage to run it before i had to reinstall windows on my pc but now i keep getting timed out

If you have a screenshot of the timeout message it may narrow down if it is the client or the server sending the timeout message. (You can also check the Web console by reloading the page and clicking the Console > Networking )

  2. Try a new profile: Profile Manager - Create, remove or switch Firefox profiles
  3. Try a malware scan: Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
  4. Talk to your network admin about the timeout if it is not browser specific.
