FFox loads VERY slowly, even with add-ons disabled, but has normal speed in safe mode. How to fix?

All webpages load in a choppy and slow way. Ditto with video. I tried refreshing FFox, disabling all add-ons, and uninstalling/reinstalling. None of that worked. Then I tried safe mode, and that worked: pages loaded normally. My OS is Windows 7 Professional. I've used FFox for many years, but it is not usable with my current problem.

Hi aaltman, Other people had the same problem before, maybe it is because of the settings in your firefox. Please look up this solution of your problem:
