When starting Thunderbird messages download very slow and when they get into my inbox thunderbird freezez and I cannot open them as message says tbird not respo
Tbird freezes and message says tbird not responding if I click on anything. I am able to recieve the messages but when I select to read that is when it freezes. Sometimes I have to control alt delete to get out of tbird

That sounds very like what McAfee has been causing for years. What anti virus do you use?
