About 4 weeks ago Thunderbird 10 thanniversary ad began blocking most of my email list. I can see only about 1" of the list. I don't know how to get rid of it and see the entire screen of emails.

Thank you if you can help solve this !

Just click a message and the Start Page goes away. If you want to turn it off completely go to Options-General and clear the checkbox for displaying the Start Page.

I haven't seen this myself. Can you provide a screenshot?

Does it not just go away when you start looking at your email messages?

If using the Menu Bar, normally hidden but is revealed by pressing the alt key, select Tools-Options.

If using the AppMenu button (3 horizontal lines) click that button, hover over Options and then click Options.
