Firefox causes the CPU to race on starting on my PC and laptop.
When I start Firefox (40.0.2 and before, ever since my upgrade to Windows 10), the CPU races for a few moments on both my PC and laptop. I see no slowdown in performance--just the racing fan.

Do you have Firefox in the Startup folder so that Firefox is launched as those devices are booted up?
No. Firefox is not in the startup folder.
Still races occasionally.
Anyone? Just jump right in!
