Is there anything present if you check the space where the number should be in the Inspector?

You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the Inspector (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) with this element selected.

Hi, the info that appears is in the screenshot. This happens in all my 3 computers, windows7, windows 8.1, windows 10, only in firefox, even in safe mode, and even with a clean install. I think the problem appeared when i upgrade to version 40.

I have the same problem. As my attachment shows, the phone number is there. It's just not displaying. Works fine with Internet Explorer, Chrome, and Edge. Running Firefox 40.0.2 on Windows 10 64-bit.

The screenshot shows the div where apparently the phone number should be in, but there is no evidence that this div has content as only an aria-label is showing. It is possible that the actual text is generated via JavaScript and that is failing in your case.

Make sure that you aren't blocking any JavaScript.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem.

  • Switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance
  • Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window

Clear the cache and remove cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

Any JavaScript errors in the Web Console (Firefox/Tools > Web Developer) that are related to this issue?

I have the same problem and thought is was a Windows problem, but as noted above, the data is displayed correctly in IE.

Curiously, if you seek to edit the information the telephone number is displayed.

Moreover, at least in my case, the telephone numbers used to show in Firefox up until 2-3 weeks ago, suggesting that some change in the recent past causes them not to show. The only thing that I can think of in this regard is that some part of the upgraded Firefox to accommodate W10 had induced this problem.

Not only that, but this problem exists with Firefox 40.0.0 in my Ubuntu 15.04 environment.

Whatever accommodation might have been made, it also affects the Ubuntu version. I wonder if this is also seen on a Mac?

I looked at this in another thread, and tested on Windows 7. You can see that Firefox is retrieving the actual data from the server, and it is building it into some HTML tags in the page (in the aria-label attribute), but the last step of adding it visibly is failing. I did not see any script error messages in the console, so there's no obvious explanation for why the page doesn't finish rendering.

I created a bookmarklet that mines the page and displays the data that's in there. I'm attaching screen shot of the results of running it. I've posted a page with a draggable button to add the bookmarklet to your Bookmarks Toolbar or Bookmarks Menu, whichever is the handiest for you: http://dev.jeffersonscher.com/bookmarklets.html#OPeep

That's obviously inconvenient, but until something better comes along...

I created a userscript that applies the bookmarklet code automatically as you click to view different people: https://greasyfork.org/en/scripts/12079-outlook-people-show-missing-details-aug-2015

Note: you need the Greasemonkey extension to install and apply a userscript: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/greasemonkey/
