Why can't I mouse-over a hyperlink within an email and reveal the hyperlink's source - I thought previous versions had this?

I am grateful to you for looking at this question. I used to be able to run my mouse over a website hyperlink with an email, and the hyperlink's source would be revealed to me so that I could make sure it was not a bogus or deceptive link, but I can't achieve that now. Otherwise the link calls up the browser normally, but it is always a good idea to check the actual source first. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? In any case, thank you! Nick

It still works like that for me here in TB38.2.0 on Windows 7.
