Sending of password for user --- did not succeed. Mail server ---.com responded: Authentication failed. [was dropping session before the password is rejected.]
Been working with my webhost, after installing Thunderbird and downloading 20k emails I couldnt login and despite changing password and updating, it wont login. I installed an icloud account too and that is working fine. I also added the new password to Mac Mail and that is logging in fine.

It is actually dropping the session before the password is rejected.
