I set up an entry in my address book to handle mail to myself. The entry has "self" , then my email address. After the fix "enhancement", several places have received messages I sent to myself! Because when I start typing "se" autocomplete gives me a bunch of possible addresses, and "self" is not the first one.

I had specifically used "self", because no other address started with

"se". I would like to toggle the new feature off, or defeat it somehow. Is that possible?

Autocomplete now matches against any part of the name or email (bug 529584)

Instead of "self", try a unique character combination that would not be used, like "sdfg", which is easy to type.
