When sending an e-mail I ned to have some text in red and other text in larger lettrs or the whole tet in largerletters. The line for those options has dissappe

First you need to be composing using HTML format.

Go to Tools|Account Settings|{select account}|Composition & Addressing and make sure "Compose messages in HTML format" is ticked.

Second, you need the toolbar to be enabled.

In the Compose window, View|Toolbars and make sure "Formattng Bar" is ticked.
