Is there a mobile app for the thunderbird email client? I'd like to make sure that it synchs with the version I have on my cpu. For example, if I send an email from the app on my iphone, I'd like that sent email to also display in my sent box on my cpu.

Whatever email app you choose on your phone, set up your account as IMAP. There is no version of Thunderbird for mobile.
