PTB crashes often when changing computer. Than it starts from zero.

Hi . . PTB ist installed on an external HDD. It runs quite good. But itcrashes very often in case I've moved with the HDD to an other computer. Than PTB starts from zero asking for e-mail acount and so on. It generates a new profile an all folders and messagese are not longer available.

I have to copy the address book and the message directory into the new profile. This ist not a good way of working.

How I can prevent this?

I am guessing PTB is portable Thunderbird. The portable version is supported by it's creators at https://portableapps.com
