Some messages only come up in "all mail" and not in my regular inbox. How do I correct this?

hello, you're posting in the firefox support forum - firefox is a browser and doesn't handle your emails. in case you're using thunderbird as a mail client and have a question about it please say so, then we will move your question into the thunderbird queue. if you're accessing your mails through webmail, contact your email-provider in order to help you further...

Well good question. I'm using g-mail.. Is that Thunderbird? I can't answer your question as all I know I'm using g-mail..didn't realize that was only a browser.. I realty wonder now how I'm getting any e-mail at all.

ok, so gmail is your email provider - this is a website that is just getting rendered by firefox, your browser. all the behaviour and design of the site is controlled by the gmail website themselves.

one possibility that may go wrong is that you have set up a filter in gmail to archive particular emails. this page explains how to deal with filters: https://support.google.com/mail/answer/6579 if this didn't help you yet, please ask a question in the forum for gmail listed on google's support site...
