how to reindex mail folders

I have tried to consolidate some important emails messages into a new inbox subfoldeer and they all just disappeared. Help! I think I need to re-index my mailbox but I can't remember how to do that.

Did the new Inbox subfolder disappear as well ? If using an imap mail account, have you subscribed to see that new folder?

Try reindexing the new folder.

  • Right click on new folder and select 'Properties'
  • clickon 'Repair folder' button
  • click on OK
