Hello, I tried to setup a notification sound when a new message arrives, but it doesn't seem to be working.

I checked this guide: https://support.mozilla.org/bg/questions/1119690 and made sure everything is the same, but it still does not work.

The sounds in the volume mixer is turned on and I also tried with the plugin "Mailbox Alert", but didn't work again.

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

What platform? Playing mail notification sounds in Linux seems to be buggy.

If this is a custom sound file, I think TB requires it to be a standard 16 bit, 2-channel, 44.1kHz wav file. There are free online audio file converters.
