comcast e mail (use via Firefox) is slow!! can i convert to thunderbird e mail and still keep my current comcast e mail address?

Thunderbird is email client software. Comcast is an email provider. You need Comcast for email service. Enter your Comcast info into Thunderbird and you can check your mail. I doubt it will be any faster. Your computer is the slow component.
