Hello, Colorful Tabs is a legacy add-on, which will not work with Firefox Quantum, as it has not been yet updated to WebExtensions format - it will be ported soon.

In the mean-time you can use VivaldiFox as a replacement: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/vivaldifox/

That addon Colorful Tabs no longer works. There are ways and if look at this google search result https://www.google.ca/search?client=firefox-b&dcr=0&q=firefox+Colorful+Tabs+userchrome&spell=1&sa=X&ved=0ahUKEwih6uLP2PbXAhUW32MKHfpyBtcQBQgkKAA&biw=1920&bih=919 only bother use November as a date or 57 or Userchrome.cs in the info then open. https://www.howtogeek.com/334716/how-to-customize-firefoxs-user-interface-with-userchrome.css/ . https://www.userchrome.org/ . https://www.userchrome.org/what-is-userchrome-css.html

There is also a reddit forum dedicated to Mozilla Firefox for more results and info.

More will come out, it is yet all in one place.

Try this : https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/new-tab-override/

Do not understand not your computer ? Possibly got a ton of unwanted stuff installed also as the just install from the disk. Hp uses low cost products inside, is how all f them make money. Except for ASUS. 2 g's get a rockin machine that will last 5yrs + if update the drivers for the motherboard.

Use the HP button to update and or go to the website download drivers page support and update everything. Find out make and model of the motherboard and go to the manufactures website, maybe able to get drivers there also. If says not for OEM then do not use.

That is weird. as thing should take especially the New Tab Extension.

Could do this : uninstall Firefox. Then Delete the Mozilla Firefox Folders in C:\Program Files and C:\Program Files(x86) Then restart system. Then run Windows Disk Cleanup. Then run it again and click the button that says Cleanup System Files. (Note you will have 100's of gigs + in Clean System if Geek Squad did not do that for you. After every MS Update about a week after go in and do so. They say will delete in a month, sometimes or never) Note: your Firefox Profile is saved. But you should make a back up before you do : https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/back-and-restore-information-firefox-profiles

Reinstall with Current Release Firefox 57.0.1 with a Full Version Installer https://www.mozilla.org/firefox/all/

If this is your first Windows 10 then bookmark this and go through it, you have work to do. https://www.howtogeek.com/search/?q=WINDOWS+10

Need to go through every setting in Settings and turn everything off you do not need and stop programs from having access to mic, cam etc.

https://www.oo-software.com/en/shutup10 need to keep checking for updates to this, especially after Win10 updates and Stick it in a Tools Folder on the Desktop, makes 1 ini file. Can copy over top with new versions then run.
