I'd like to put an icon on my desktop for Pandora. How do I do this?

I have a Dell Inspiron with OS of Vista. I would find it much more efficient to use an icon to boot up Pandora, as opposed to search my email to find it then boot. Could I put an icon on my desktop to do this?

You can create a desktop shortcut to a web address in two different ways.

(1) After you launch the Pandora page the next time, resize the window so you can see the desktop, then click-and-drag the padlock icon (or i-in-a-circle icon) from the left end of the address bar out to the desktop.

Then you can right-click > Rename the shortcut to something short and readable.

(2) In the email message, right-click the link and Copy Link Location.

Then right-click on your desktop, click New, click Shortcut. In the little dialog that comes up, paste the URL, then click Next, then give the shortcut a name you like, then click Finish.
