I need to make sure that i am asked every time a zip file is to open. The instructions I have Launch Mozilla Firefox Click Tools -> Options Select the Applications button Scroll down to Compressed (zipped) folder and double-click it to open a drop-down menu Choose Always ask as the default file behavior, then click OK Firefox will no longer automatically launch the program that is unzipping your files But i cannot find the tools button. I have gone to options under the 3 bars in the right top corner, but that doesn't have tools. Please help me follow the above directions

The Tools option is in the Menu Bar at top of your browser window. If you don't have a Menu Bar, right-click in an open space along the top and check the Menu Bar box.

You can alternatively open about:preferences in a new tab.

@ TMMoore :

Where you want to go is Options => General => Applications

And you can get there as described by Tony98 - you can also get 'Tools' 'to appear in the upper left corner by pressing the Alt key.

You can get there as described by cor-el.

And you can simply get there by clicking the 3-bar menu icon => Options

To get to 'Applications' on the General panel, you'll have to scroll down some.
