Add-ons and extensions not working with Quantum

Firefox Quantum no longer works with the extensions and add-ons that I use; Tab Mix Plus has been with you guys from the beginning and also a hefty workhorse of Mozilla; can you please explain why I can no longer customize Firefox the way I'd like... the reason I chose Mozilla over Safari or IE. Do I have to go back to the old version of Firefox for it to be useful or is this a problem that you guys are correcting? Been a satisfied user for years... until now. Thanks for the quick reply.

Addons are not a Mozilla or FireFox problem but of the creators not updating to work with FF57+. This has been mentioned before but if the creators don't update for the new security and stability concerns updated in FF57+ then the Addons will not work. Going back is up to the user but not advised as you leave yourself open up for security flaws to be exploited by malicious site or embedded email malware to infect your system or gain personal information.
