I installed Thunderbird on new computer and added my account. Watched video on how to move data from old computer and saw that I should not have created account. I Deleted that account, but now I cannot paste folder that I copied from old computer. I tried uninstall and then new install, but I do not get the opening page to be able to skip adding account. Any suggestions?

I don't think that it matters that you created your account in the new Thunderbird. Any instructions for transferring a protocol will lead you to either overwriting the new profile, or installing the old protocol alongside the new and directing Thunderbird to use the older profile. In either case the existence of the account in the new profile is irrelevant.

What is stopping you from pasting the old profile?
