so on this pdf issue, i mispoke, ymail doing it too, only allows adobe
so Word not offered in the 'other' drop down of options to click on. I want to 'read' a pdf in Word. and as to CREATE a pdf from a Word document, that's Word, pdf but even in Word, when I save as 'pdf' a word document I 'just' created, it does not do a word 'pdf' save it does an auto matic pdf save in acrobat.
I think somehow if not an issue from latest adobe acrobat update days ago, then a Firefox issue. on the page where how you handle a pdf is listed, no way in 'other' options to add in Word as another choice to be able to click on. so how can i get FIREfox in the options under how pdf's are viewed to offer Word in that drop down of other choices? unless this is being caused by acrobat

Hi, I suggest you get a handle on things. You know how this works with 37 other questions asked.
Word is not going to go in no matter what you do. It is a Microsoft Program and they want you to use their other programs.
Just download the file in Firefox and Print to File to save it.
Or download it in Firefox and Open it in Adobe.
Unfortunately this is not a Firefox issue.
Pkshadow.. when did THAT happen? Word was ALWAYS a choice in the drop down menu. Word was always an option to use. now it's not.
recent change? I know, I am not a Microsoft fan at all anymore. Get an apple soon as $ allows.

They were so apologetic after hours in chat and phone calls to me, the local Microsoft store gave me 4, one hour consult visits for FREE. and more....
Let's set the record straight... Word is a Microsoft product and Apple got nothing to do with Word but there is Word for Mac. But switching computer won't remove the problem your having already and will continue to have. So go and grab a Book about Word and study on how to use Word to work for you. FF forum has nothing to do or respond to what happened between you and Microsoft support.
