Mozilla failure
The biggest danger I've seen searching the net, and I do a lot of it for research....is malisous ads. Many websites use ad servers and have no idea of the bad ads that slip thru, until enough people are effected.
Now firefox exposes us all to malisous ads. Probably millions. It would be better to have an unsigned version of adblock plus, then none at all.
...and by the way, I'm not giving up XP either. In the nearly 20 years I've used it, I've never been hacked in any way... thanks to the other softwares I use to secure it.

As you probably know by now, a critical certificate used in verifying add-on signatures expired, which prevents running, installing, or updating most add-ons.
A hotfix has been released for Firefox 60+ on Windows, Mac and Linux. More info in this article: Add-ons disabled or fail to install on Firefox.
There is not yet a fix for Android. The Add-ons team will post updates here: https://blog.mozilla.org/addons/2019/05/04/update-regarding-add-ons-in-firefox/

Thanks, but I don't consider this a solution. In the mean time everyone is subjected to the worst advertising that on my sites is served by adservers. Those people don't check very well what ads they serve, and I've seen bad ones that were only caught by AV or Spybot. The best way, especially for people unlike me, that don't tend to stay on top of these things is to have good adblockpuls.
So mozilla has exposed probably millions of people to malicous ads....why?

A Firefox 66.0.4 update has been built for Android, but I don't see it in the Google Play app yet.
