My font size for link has changed and i have tried changing the font size using the options tab, but that doesn't seem to help
With pictures below my font size when searching used to look like the one right and now it looks like the one on the left and i cant seem to change it back

Your screenshots do not show the location bar, so I can't see if the zoom indicator is present.
You may have accidentally zoomed web page(s). Reset the page zoom on pages that cause problems.
- View -> Zoom -> Reset (Ctrl+0/Command+0 (zero))
zoom is at 100%
I have the same problem and I can't change it and the zoom is not the problem.
You can right-click and select "Inspect Element" to open the builtin Inspector with this element selected.
You can check in the Rules tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font-family is used for selected text. You can check in the Font tab in the right panel in the Inspector what font is actually used because Firefox might be using a different font than specified by the website.
