cannot create account because of age, although I am over 18
To make a long story short, I created This Firefox account to get support creating another Firefox account... After trying to set up "sync" on my laptop (where I normally browse using Firefox – I am writing this from the desktop that I wanted to get synced) I got an error message with the heading: "Cannot create account", followed by the text: "You must meet certain age requirements to create a Firefox Account." This is strange, since I am 19 years old (I suspect that I entered the wrong nubmer). I really want to get my laptop and its profiles synced, since much work has been put into browser-personalization. How do I fix this problem?

Is it not possible to simply use your new account instead of the old one? I know it's not ideal, but I don't think we're able to edit the birthdates on accounts to correct for mistakenly entered dates.

Did you try to close and restart Firefox and try again ?

Yes, I did, but it did not fix the issue.

Turns out that was what I had to do. Still, I was able to save my bookmarks and by creating a second browser profile and linking that to this account.

Thanks this worked for me. After restarting Firefox and clicking sign in from the hamburger menu it reset the create account form. Apparently not filling in the age field will cause the same "Cannot Create Account" message instead of a missing field error.
