How can I get Thunderbird to show me the correct name of LinkedIn sender

When I receive many e-mails from LinkedIn I do not get the correct name shown. Instead I see the name of the first person to have sent me an e-mail using LinkedIn. It seems that Thunderbird has associated certain LinkedIn e-mail addresses and associates them with certain names. How can I remove this association so that I do not get the names of the same persons who once sent me e-mails from LinkedIn? Thanks.

Look for an address book called "collected addresses". Lots of stuff can end up in there without you thinking about it.

Go to your addressbook and delete the entry where you saved this email address and associated name.

Thanks for the reply. I had never checked my address book before. So many addresses have been saved there automatically. Now I deleted the ones I had in mind when I sought help.
