Updated TB (78.7.0), but now links won't open

I just updated Thunderbird, and now URLs will not open. Usually, links open in Firefox, which I have confirmed is set as my default browser.

When I click on a link, it reacts as if the browser will open. (That is, the border of Thunderbird changes color.) However, nothing opens.

This occurs only with URL. If I click on an email address, a new blank email opens.

How do I get the links to work?

Please note that I have closed and re-opened Thunderbird and just restarted my computer.

If you receive messages from someone else the hypertext or urls sent to your email inbox don't work?

Or is it that the urls you type to start browsing in your Firefox browser just don't work?

can you be more specific? Did you had an update ,with version 78.8.?

If you try to restart Thunderbird in safe modus see if the error goes away If the links you’ve try to connect to works in safe modus. Then it’s maybe caused by bad add ons in your program. Try search where that bad addon one is located? Some Anti virus program s also block s some time a connection to internet use. Or VPN service.

Oke,just a moment. That problem was solved? We had suggested that safe modus would work for you? Also for lahteb was this the suggestion.
