New feature that opens a new browser window every single time I open Firefox is hated. So much that I’ve stopped using Firefox until you give me the choice of having this feature on or off so I don’t wind up with 15 browser tabs in the background that are eating up power and bandwidth as they refresh in background, and so that my browser isn’t cluttered with unnecessary tabs that don’t let me easily pick up where I left off.

HOW DO I TURN THIS HORRID NEW FEATURE OFF??!!

On iphone11 max pro, when I click the burger menu, then settings, there is no About Firefox, and I cannot find an item “Tap 5 times” nor a place where I would tap something 5 times, nor can I find a Debug item. Same when I goto iPhone settings > Firefox.

Perhaps I missed something?

In the app, it looks more like: Settings > About > (section heading, in very small text) > Firefox Daylight (with a version number and a few other numbers)

Pressing that Firefox Daylight button five times will give you the debug options.

I was just as confused as you, it seems like they’ve moved things around a bit.
