Dear Thunderbird Help Forum,

I am running the following: MacBook Pro (16-inch, 2019) MacOS Big Sur 11.6.4 Thunderbird 91.7.0 (64 bit)

Thunderbird hangs on the startup screen "Do You Want to Send Unsent Messages Now?" (see attached). I quit and restart Thunderbird, and it hangs every time. I've rebooted, checked my activity monitor to make sure no other Thunderbird processes are running.

What preceeded this issue was that one of my outgoing mailservers on one of my POP email accounts stopped working, saying that the password authentication was causing an error. I was in process of changing the outgoing mailserver settings. I changed the settings to something that obviously didn't work, and now it hangs every time.

Please help!

Scott Alvarez
