My ISP (GoDaddy) recently switched my email account to Outlook. I made some resettings on Thunderbird and now am able to receive my emails there again, but cannot send them out. GoDaddy has sent me the appropriate settings, but no matter what I try to toggle with those, I get an error message. Still receiving emails, though, with no problems.

You weren't specific, but my guess is either one of these two addons: exquilla or owl, will do what you need for Exchange email. Neither is free, but neither is expensive. I have used Exquilla and can speak to the quality of what it does. I believe each serves a different type of Exchange setup.

So I've redone all the settings and now when trying to send I get the message "Login to server smtp.office365.com with username piotr@crossculturaladventures.us failed" and asks me "Enter New Password." I type in my password as used on Outlook, but that doesn't work. Do I need a different SMTP password on Thunderbird? The emails still come in on Thunderbird under that password.
