youtube shorts keeps changing
when im on youtube shorts and i switch tabs it either goes to the short below it or completely replace the short i was watching

You need to provide the URL so that others can replicate your issue to verify what is happening.
How are you switching tabs (keyboard or in case of mouse where do you click) ?
Start Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions ("3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Extensions) or if hardware acceleration or if userChrome.css/userContent.css is causing the problem.
- switch to the DEFAULT theme: "3-bar" menu button or Tools -> Add-ons -> Themes
- do NOT click the "Refresh Firefox" button on the Troubleshoot Mode start window
