Suddenly, Firefox will not make already-followed hyperlinks purple. I have set, reset, refreshed to no avail.
I need to follow many hyperlinks. Everything worked fine and the followed hyperlinks changed from blue to purple. In the last 2 days, they stay blue. I have gone to settings and reset it multiple times, but the only way I can get the change is to make the screen high contrast, which I do not want. I have refreshed Firefox. I have the latest update (which might be what changed). What is the problem?

You could try starting Firefox in troubleshoot mode.
