recover only one sub-directory from backup, BOOKMARKS. I erased a number of bookmarks. If I do a recovery, it will replace all bookmarks with the backup. I really only want to recover X folders, not the entire lot. I have done work and placed new bookmarks since, and don't want to loose them.

You can use this tool to convert a JSON backup to an HTML backup and edit this HTML file to only keep the bookmarks you want to import.

When I do a backup, I always to the JSON and HTML…. Issue with HTML is it is not organized so that items stay in the sub-directory they were saved into.

For instance, I just “lost” my COMPUTER directory. Most/All the bookmarks are still in the HTML file, but not in the COMPUTER directory.

I am trying to rebuild that directory w/o erasing items recently added.
