delete message on TBird but keep it on server

On Windows 10 I'm using Thunderbird with a Juno email account (POP.Juno.com). I want to delete messages in Thunderbird without deleting them on Juno server.

I have checked "Leave on Server" but I think that applies to downloading messages to Thunderbird. 

Also, it seems that we can delete messages on Juno, but that does not delete them on Thunderbird Thanks

The 'leave messages on server' does what you want; the messages are kept online at the server. Also, be sure to UNtick the 'until I delete them' option.
