Search bar (google) will not resolve
I'm using the search bar on the top right with Google search as my default. Typically this works without issue. Sometimes, only after resuming windows from hibernation, I'll type some text into the search bar and hit enter. A new tab opens as normal but it will never resolve the page. it just sits there loading. At this point I can type as many search queries into the box as I want and none of them ever resolve. If I manually open google.com and search from that, it works fine. The only way to fix this is to restart FF.
I have not yet tried getting the browser into this state and using a different search such as bing, wikipedia, etc, to see if the issue still happens. I will try this next time it reproduces with google.

Additional details from the OP...
I reproduced the issue, then changed my search engine to Wikipedia and the search resolved just fine. it also worked for amazon. back to google and no dice. I then manually loaded google.com and searched from there without issue.
I had 2 FF windows open at this time, I closed the browser window with the issue, and reopened it and all was well, never closing the 2nd window. this tells me it is window specific and opening/closing the window will fix the issue rather than restarting FF all together. FF process never closed throughout the workaround since the 2nd windows stayed open.
Is this an FF or a google issue somehow?
