I keep getting an error message that says server not found ad.doubleclick.net and that is it. What do I do to correct this problem.

This means that something is blocking that ad server from loading. Blocked ad servers can cause some sites to malfunction.

I would recommend using a different DNS server, as the one you have seems to block some sites. You can follow instructions for switching to OpenDNS to see if an alternate DNS fixes the problem.
