when i put firefox sync to sync, it gives me an error, and says i need to update it so i can continue using it. when i click update, it redirects me to the extensions window, and when i search for updates, it says there are no updates available.

i also searched the net, and apparently the one im using (1.5.1) is the latest.

whats the deal? thanks in advance

I found this notice last night:
https://services.mozilla.com/update/
Users of the Firefox Sync add-on should upgrade to version 1.6 beta 1 or higher of the add-on.

Problem is I can't find that version, it's not showing at AMO. How hard would it have been for them to provide a link to the update or allow the user to install the updated version from that page? Fockin clowns.

I did some searching and found this page:
https://services.mozilla.com/sync/updated/?version=1.5&channel=dev

That page lists the changelog for Firefox Sync 1.6b1. Also on that page is a sentence at the top: "You're using an old development release, please update to the latest snapshot!"

If you click on the underlined words "latest snapshot", you get a dialog to popup to install Sync 1.6b1.
