Recent updates to FF causing problems with Excite.com. What changed?

Excite.com allows for page colors to be set. At least it use to. Some colors no longer set. Some when you do set, they change to some arbitrary color.

For the record, this also happens on my Lenovo laptop running Win 7 still using FF (same version).
