I have always used Firefox to view local files with extension "PHP" but now all that happens is that FF tries to open tab after tab after tab until I exit the program. This is not about processing php but about the simple viewing of web pages with that extension even if no actual php code has been placed yet. Just the HTML portion. I have not had a problem like this after years of using FF until all of a sudden. Now I can't use it at all because it just refuses to let me preview pages locally. How can I get my FF back to doing what it always did just fine in the past, view off line php pages?
