problems with address bar
When you go to that drop down bit on the address bar, and select the site you want, it used to load automatically,o r by pressing return. Now it doesn't, you can only get there by using that little green arrow at the end. This has just started happening. Any ideas how to revert back to how it was?

Do you have that problem when running in the Firefox SafeMode?

Don't select anything right now, just use "Continue in SafeMode."

YES! It works fine in safemode and now Ive gone back to normal mode it works there too. What I don't know is why, so Im not sure I can avoid it happening again.

Issues with the Enter key not working can be caused by the AVG Safe Search Toolbar, so if you have that bar (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) then you can try to disable that add-on.
