While in Mexico my default language switches to Spanish, and changing the language through the tool /options tab does nthing

Going to the tools/options/content tab and changing languages does not work. Besides, it show the language is english - even though the home page is all in Spanish.

Some sites automatically redirect you to a site in the local language, based on where your IP locates you.

There is usually a link on such websites choose a language or go to an international version that allows to chose the language.
