No, those files are not legitimate, but malware. You should always ignore such unrequested pop-ups. What you see in such cases is an animation that is loaded via internet and not a real scan.

You can move those files to the trash to remove them. If you were on the windows platform and have run them then you would have been infected with malware (virus), but .exe files do not run on a Mac, so nothing happened.
