Downloaded Firefox 5.3 Skype now does not work...urgent problem!

I always had problems with Skype/Vista. I downloaded 5.3 (the latest Firefox), and Skype does not work. It still works ok on my other computer with the older version of Firefox, which I am now afraid to download. Know about the Skype problems of yesterday. What specifiacally can i do? Thanks Chris

With things like Skype you are unwise to run ahead of the public release - Fx4.0.1 -and no guarantees there, either.

Thanks...my error, I only have 4.0 Skype still doesnt woth though.
