When i open firefox, a 2nd tab automatically opens that checks my plugins. How do i disable this automatic plugin check? Suggestions such as disabling add-ons I updated today, setting my homepage to blank, changing url settings didn't work. Please help

Wait!!! I noticed that people who have the same problem are still not using firefox 4. Is this their way of forcing us to update to firefox 4? Well, i do NOT intend to, at least for now...especially after seeing the reviews about it.

I uninstalled Viewpoint Media Player and it worked
