While trying to setup sync, nothing happens after clicking on connect.

I am trying to set up sync on a desktop computer (os x) with firefox 5. I tried by clicking Firefox -> Settings -> Sync -> Set up sync, now both of the buttons "new account" and "connect" don't show any reaction after clicking them. To anyone else having this problem: removing key3.db & signons.sqlite from my firefox profile solved the problem.
