I have recently switched from Windows to a Linux OS (Ubuntu) and am using Firefox that came installed with it (not sure of the version). I'm trying to import my bookmarks from a HTML file, but when I open the Bookmarks Library (Bookmarks -> Show All Bookmarks) there is no toolbar visible, and no Import/Export button! I have tried using the Import Wizard through File -> Import... but the Import Settings and Data dialog box tells me that no programs that contain bookmarks, history or password data could be found. If anyone is able to help me locate the Import/Export function in the Bookmarks Library I would be very grateful!!! Cheers

  • I believe Import & Export is one of the icons at the top of the Library window in Linux. Rest your cursor over each one until you see the tooltip box with the description.
