Hot keys are not working, ex.: Sign Out from sites when I click on these I cannot close the site I am on, even my Yahoo page

When I have a site open, Yahoo.com or B of A banking, the Log out/Sign Out keys do not work. I cannot exit the site.

That problem can be caused by the Yahoo! Toolbar that extents too much downwards and covers the top part of the browser window and thus makes links in that part of the screen not clickable.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).
