I've got trouble with Google Maps via Firefox 10.0.1 on Mac OS 10.7.3. The main screen of Google Maps loads - but when I type something in the search window - it freezes and displays a message (in Polish, so I'll translate): "Still loading? too slow ? Look for solutions <link> or choose basic html mode"

Safari and Chrome work fine with Google Maps on the same computer.

Start Firefox in Diagnose Firefox issues using Troubleshoot Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration or the JavaScript JIT compiler is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

See "Basic Troubleshooting: Make a new profile":

If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.
