"This connection is untrusted", but no option to click "I understand the risks"
Here is an image of the page I see when I try to access gmail, my online mobile phone account, my online bank account, youtube, facebook, and more.
Clearly I can't click "I understand the risks" -- the option is just not available on that page. I've also checked my system clock and the date/time is correct. Please help!

It then asks to add as an exception to firefox. Maybe a screen shot could help if that doesn't help you.
You seem to be missing the section to add an exception.
What does the Technical details section show about this problem?
Try to rename the cert8.db file in the Firefox profile folder to cert8.db.old or delete the cert8.db file to remove the intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored.
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed cert8.db.old file.
Otherwise you can rename (or copy) the cert8.db.old file to cert8.db to restore the stored intermediate certificates.
Firefox will automatically store new intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send them.
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
- Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder
cor-el: Yeah, definitely missing the "add an exception" thing which usually pops up ... The technical details doesn't include any information.
Unfortunately my computer died (I'm at the library right now) so I can't really take any more screenshots or provide any more information. The bright side is that now I don't have to worry about firefox issues! :P
