Outside ads create hyperlinks in stories I'm reading
Hello, I've been noticing lately that what seems to be outside ad companies are creating hyperlink in news stories I'm reading. This isn't happening when I use Internet Explorer.
I checked with the editor of a site I visit (psmag.com) and he says they aren't doing it on their end, and they can't see the problem that I'm talking about. But, from their front page, in four stories there was a word that was larger font than the rest of the words, and it was a hyperlink to outside ads. This has been happening over and over for the last 2 or 3 weeks on various sites. What is going on?

Do these links have double underlines? If so, it could be textsrv doing that. You can block textsrv.com with Adblock Plus by adding this to the Custom Filters Ad blocking rules: ||textsrv.com/*
If that is not it, maybe you have some malware installed. Try the software listed here:
- Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware - http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php
- SuperAntispyware - http://www.superantispyware.com/
- Spybot Search & Destroy - http://www.safer-networking.org/en/index.html
- AdAware - http://www.lavasoftusa.com/software/adaware/
If these don't find it or can't clear it, post in one of these forums for specialized malware removal help:

Thanks! I'll try these!
Tried the Adblock Plus filter method, but that didn't work. Looked in the extensions section of the add-on page and deleted something called 'Codec-V', which seems to have done the trick.
